EDUC 525 - Collaborative Classrooms and Schools Class members examine how to create a student-centered classroom through collaboration with teacher colleagues, community leaders, and other education professionals. Focus on how to engage students in authentic learning experiences through various instructional models: constructivist, traditional, inquiry learning, and the workshop framework. Includes research-based pedagogy in a framework of state academic standards that focus on the 21st century skills of communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity.
