SPED 606 - Assessment Practices in Special Education Develops knowledge of the methods and materials used to assess students who may be eligible for special education services. Develops an understanding of various assessment practices used to diagnose, plan, and instruct students eligible for individual education programs. Develops competencies in interpreting and implementing norm-referenced, criterion-referenced, curriculum-based, and classroom assessments to inform instructional and placement decisions.
