BUS 587 - Supply Chain Procurement
This course will examine key principles and theories of purchasing and supply chain management. The course focuses on managing the flow of materials, goods, services, and information from raw materials through the final customer. Attention is given to purchasing operations including purchasing policies and procedures, supply chain management integration, competitive advantage, worldwide strategic sourcing, supplier quality management, Lean principles, information systems, and performance measurement and evaluation.
