NURS 324 - Nursing Care of Childbearing Families
Focuses on the role of the professional nurse in addressing the dynamic needs of contemporary childbearing families. Collaborative and comprehensive care principles guide application of the nursing process and clinical judgment to promote and restore health of individuals and families. Evidence-directed nursing practice and nursing, developmental and family theories are explored. Ethical, cultural, and holistic awareness are integrated to facilitate compassionate and effective family-centered care delivery.
