NURS 375 - Pharmacology in Health Care


Introduces pharmacologic therapy detailing drug classifications, purpose of medication administration, mechanisms of action, adverse effects, and clinically significant interactions. The nursing process and clinical judgment are used to define nursing responsibilities in medication administration. Emphasizes nursing implications of pharmacologic therapy with application of knowledge to care of clients across the lifespan with cultural considerations. 

Credit Hours: 3
Prerequisite: NURS 211  & NURS 212
