NURS 325 - Clinical: Nursing Care of Childbearing Families
Focuses on nursing care for contemporary childbearing families. Collaborative and comprehensive care principles guide application of the nursing process and clinical judgment to promote and restore health of individuals and families. Evidence-directed nursing practice and nursing, developmental and family theories are applied to childbearing families. Ethical, cultural, and holistic awareness are integrated to facilitate compassionate and effective family-centered care delivery. Clinical experiences include engagement with childbearing families across the healthcare system. Clinical sites include area hospitals and community settings.

Prerequisite: NURS 303 & NURS 304 & NURS 306 & NURS 307 & NURS 375
