EDUC 674** - Transitional Clinical Practicum School site-based formative field experience for transitioning professionals. Through on-going guidance of classroom cooperating teachers-mentors and university supervisors students will apply their knowledge, skills, and professional behaviors in authentic setting required of teaching professionals. Requires that practicum students construct outcome-based authentic assignments to demonstrate proficiency in the following teaching principles and practices; instruction and assessment methods, literacy in content areas, adaptations for students with special needs, integration of technology in the classroom, collaboration among school personnel, and brain-based principles for effective classroom management. Additional fees assessed.
